Ola Electric S1 Scooters Get a Price Drop of INR 25,000

In addition to Ola Electric, a number of other EV companies have reduced the cost of their goods, including Ather, Okaya, and Bajaj, in an effort to lower the cost of electric cars and hasten their uptake in India.

IPO-bound Three models in Ola Electric’s S1 scooter lineup will see price reductions of up to Rs 25,000. The discounted rates are only available in February.
The electric car manufacturer credited its ability to manufacture, qualify for manufacturing incentives, and have a solid, internally integrated vertically integrated technology for this decision.

Ola Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has reduced its S1 scooter portfolio prices by ₹25,000 to increase accessibility and market competitiveness in the electric scooter market.

Here are the revised prices for the Ola Electric S1 series:

1. S1 Pro: Was ₹1,47,499, now ₹1,29,999.
2. S1 Air: Was ₹1,19,999, now ₹1,04,999.
3. S1 X (4kWh): Remains unchanged at ₹1,09,999.
4. S1 X+ (3kWh): Was ₹1,09,999, now ₹84,999.
5. S1 X (3kWh): Remains unchanged at ₹89,999.
6. S1 X (2kWh): Remains unchanged at ₹79,999.

Ola Electric has reduced its prices due to its robust cost structure, vertically integrated technology, and manufacturing incentives, aligning them with those of traditional ICE scooters, demonstrating its commitment to EV adoption.

In addition to the price drop, Ola Electric has introduced several initiatives to accelerate EV adoption:
