Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the 16th installment of the Central Government’s scheme PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on Wednesday. In this installment, more than Rs. 21,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of farmers, benefiting over 9 crore farmer families with an amount exceeding Rs. 3 lakh crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully executed the transfer of the 16th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, a central government initiative. This installment, amounting to over Rs. 21,000 crore, has been disbursed to the bank accounts of farmers across the country. With the completion of this transaction, the scheme has now provided financial assistance exceeding Rs. 3 lakh crore to more than 9 crore farmer families. As the scheme completes 5 years, the Prime Minister announced the distribution of the 16th installment during a program in Yavatmal. According to the official website of PM Kisan, pmkisan.gov.in, more than 11 crore farmers have received over Rs. 2.80 lakh crore under this scheme so far.
