Tomorrow, on February 16, 2024, the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (IISc Bengaluru) will make the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) response sheet available. Through the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in, candidates who took the exam can access and download the response sheet by logging in.
As per the official schedule, after the GATE response sheet 2024 is live, the authorities will release the GATE answer key 2024 and invite challenges from the candidates. Following this, the GATE result 2024 will be announced.

Instructions for calculating scores using the GATE 2024 Response Sheet and Answer Key.
1. Go to the official website and download the GATE 2024 Response Sheet.
2. Examine your answers against the official answer key that was made public by the authorities.
3. Divide the 1 and 2 point questions.
Additionally, to prevent misunderstanding when calculating the score, separate the MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions), MSQ (Multiple Select Questions), and NAT (Numerical Answer Type).
Let’s now examine the scoring breakdown for the various question types:
- MCQ Points : – Total points (1 point) = 1 × (number of right answers) – 1/3 × (number of incorrect answers) Total score (2 points) = 2 × (total number of right answers) – 2/3 × ( number of incorrect answers)
- NAT Marks: – Total of 1 mark and Total of 2 marks.
