Guests invited to Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Gujarat, from March 1-3 will be treated to a lavish feast.

On January 19, 2023, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were engaged in Mumbai during a Gol Dhana ceremony.

The younger daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO of Encore Healthcare, and businesswoman Shaila Merchant, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, is scheduled to marry Radhika Merchant next month.

Preparations for the wedding are underway. For those who have been invited to the pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat, from March 1-3, a lavish feast has been prepared.

25 cooks have reportedly been assembled into a special squad and will travel from Indore to Jamnagar for the festivities. There will be a variety of cuisines served throughout the event, including Pan-Asian, Thai, Mexican, and Parsi meals.

As per India Today, over 1,000 guests have been invited to the grand event that will be attended by several prominent personalities, including Bill Gates. According to Bloomberg Mark Zuckerberg is likely to attend the event.

Over 2,500 meals will be served throughout the three-day festival, and no dish will be served again. Only the breakfasts will have more than 70 alternatives. There will be 250 alternatives for lunch and 250 options for dinner.

Additionally, special preparations have been made for vegan visitors. The Ambanis’ decision to feed their guests midnight munchies is what makes them so special.

Who is Anant Ambani?

Anant Ambani is the youngest son of the billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani. Born on April 10, 1995, in Mumbai, India, Anant completed his schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School and received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Rhode Island. His remarkable transformation garnered attention when he lost nearly 108 kg of body weight in less than 18 months through a disciplined diet and exercise regimen.

Anant belongs to a Vaishya-Hindu (Gujarati Modh Bania) family. His father, Mukesh Ambani, is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, while his mother, Nita Ambani, is an Indian philanthropist and the founder of the Reliance Foundation. Anant has two siblings: Akash Ambani, who leads the telecom unit of RIL, and Isha Ambani, who oversees the retail unit of RIL.

In terms of his personal life, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are childhood friends. They got engaged on January 19, 2023, following traditional Gujarati ceremonies at their family residence, Antilia, in Mumbai. The couple’s roka ceremony took place on December 29, 2022, at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan1.

Professionally, Anant joined his family business after graduating from Brown University. He has been a director of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd (RRVL). Recently, he was named the head of Reliance Industries’ energy business.
